Me and fellow co-workers stayed at the Tel-Star for work, upon waking up the next morning one worker found 3 bed bugs in his bed. Once we returned home for the weekend he called and advised us all of his finding after researching the bugs. The next week we called the Health Authority on them and let them conduct a visit/inspection. They found the bed bugs, for fear of other rooms being infected we all went through our belongings and checked our beds at home. Another co-worker had brought his own pillow (we all had SEPARATE rooms as part of our union contract requirements), and after checking his bed at home found he had brought 5 back home with him. We went to the motel the next week to complain, the manager refused to let us lodge a complaint or speak to the owner, we were called liars and were told the owner would call us, they never did.... The manager also had the audacity to try and give us grief for calling the health board first without calling him. We asked what was being done and he said he was in the process of dealing with it, yet we could clearly see people going into the rooms. This motel is absolutely disgusting and I would not recommend it to anyone. They are dishonest and obviously filthy, good luck if you dare stay with them.
