I went through Edmonton for a job I had in Cambridge Bay so the college had booked the Inn for me. I had just been to India and had bought some beautiful glass bangles for my students. I left the hotel and when I got to CAm BAy I noticed that I had left the bangles at home or at the hotel. I called - no- so I thought they were at home. I stopped there on the way back and stayed there 1 night. I asked again- no bangles or box- horrible night's stay as well- noisey hallway and a different end of hotel. So now I am home and no bangles- they were at hotel- where else would they be? I am so glad i didn't leave something of true value but stealing is stealing and I am really disappointed. i won't stay there again- I need my sleep and I like to trust people.

I recently spent a night with my family at the Nisku inn. Not only did the pop machine keep us awake humming the entire night...it was noisy, stinky with the walls pealing. When I tried to talk to the staff about the problems with the noise they rude girl at the front blamed me. I requested that the manager phone me but I was not called so felt compelled to write this review. DO NOT STAY at this hotel if you want a good night sleep or good service.

Nisku Inn is in a busy industrial area south of Edmonton and adjacent to the Edmonton International Airport. It is a modern commercial hotel that appears to be used a lot for meetings and conventions. We arrived there with a voucher from our airline due to a flight cancellation.

Staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and functional. Our meal vouchers didn't cover the cost of anything but the most rudimentary items on the menu because the food is quite expensive. It's possible that few of the people eating here are paying for their own meals. So we were forced to supplement with our own money, the compensation being that the food was excellent, in the typical Alberta style.

My partner enjoyed the exercise room and pool, which she had to herself.

I'm not aware of any tourist amenities immediately nearby and it is a long way from Edmonton. People stay here because it is on the Edmonton Calgary highway, near the airport, and because of the surrounding industrial area.

When it comes to hotels, I'v seen them all. On a scale of 1 and 10, this is a solid 1.3 at best. let's start at the front desk. I had a reservation with a conformation number and they "mis placed it". Sure simple mistake. Night 2... Returning from a long day at a conference, I figured I would retreat to my "4 star" room. Upon arival I couldn't believe my eyes. The first thing I saw was a turned down bed, with what I believe was to be a blood stain on the sheets. Gross. After half an hour with no answer at the front desk, I decided to make my way up front. The last time I felt such a cold shoulder was when I was still with my first wife. Brrr... And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I see a roach scurry from under the alarm clock. That was enough. I packed my belongings and headed to the Holliday inn. I'm not much of a whiner, but the nisku inn felt more like the pissku inn.
