“We would not hesitate to book a stay at the 108 Resort next time we are in the area!”

We stayed at the 108 in August, 2011 and were very pleased with our room (executive suite), and the very personable front desk staff. Our room was spacious with a large deck overlooking the tennis courts and lake. The vaulted ceilings and wood trim gave the room a country cottage ambiance. The room rates were very reasonable, and we honestly had no complaints, we would definitely recommend the 108 Resort to our friend and family.

“Good value basic motel”

Nice quiet location but make sure you request an upstairs room as you get a lot of noise if in a ground floor unit from the 1st floor units due to little or no insulation. Good value motel, basic continental breakfast included. excellent restaurant down the road.

“Very Friendly! :)”

The highlight of the stay here, was definitely the chipper staff! The rooms are are a C - B rating and in need of some upgrading. Our room had a stained carpet and the bed aren't luxurious (as in pillowtop) but you are getting what you pay for. On the other hand they have other amenities here to make it more comfortable, such as mens and ladies saunas and a heated outdoor pool!! The continental breakfast provided has waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, muffins, bagels and more! Yummm! Great bang for your buck! Enjoy your stay...

“Absolutely perfect for our family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

We stayed there for the first time on August 15th, on our way to Smithers for a family reunion. They put the 17 of us up in four rooms close together, and close to the pool and breakfast room. We had planned to stay at Red Coach in 100 Mile - some of us had a good experience there several years ago - but recent tripadvisor reviews showed a major decline recently. So, we tried 108 Resort based on tripadvisor reviews and were very glad we did.

They gave us a bit of a "bulk discount", but even the standard rate is exceptional value - and includes breakfast. The service is consistently amazing! Valerie especially was an angel. They are totally family friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Our ages span 4 months to 49 years - and catered for all of us. They turned an overnight road stop into a magical family occasion. We had dinner (pizza delivered to the resort, and our own drinks) on the outside deck, overlooking the pool, the lake, and golf course - west-facing to take in a gorgeous sunset. Then we spent the evening playing in the large, clean swimming pool.

I would have given this 5 stars, except that some of the place is showing its age. For example, the bath tub had several chips, which someone had tried to repair. But it is well maintained. The floorings and toilets were near new, everything looked freshly painted, it was tidy and clean and comfortable, and everything worked. We didn't want a flashy glass block and marble architectural masterpiece - or the price that goes with it - so it was absolutely perfect for us.

The beds were comfortable and the place is VERY quiet - nothing louder than a songbird. The resort is a km or two off the highway, so there is no road noise. We slept superbly. We enjoyed 108 Resort so much, we stayed there again on August 29th on the way back to Vancouver, and were not disappointed. Top marks.

Room Tip: Close to the lobby, breakfast room, pool, sauna ,etc is most convenient - but they seem to book the...

“relaxing, comfortable, and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

Just spent 4 days at the 108 and really enjoyed our time there. The staff were so over the top, they couldn't do enough for us. They have had a hrd time with 2 fires and the change in ownership, but they stood strong and are fighting to b even better. Over the years I have driven right by on my way to Prince George but never really knew what a great placeit was. The view and all the wild life is really incredible, take time and go there and find out you will love it there.
