My husband and I were on our first trip together after four years of owning our shop to visit our grown children in Courtenay and Hornby Island. Greystone Manor was recommended to us because of the beautiful old house, garden and setting and it didn't disappoint. The owners, Mo and Mike, are very welcoming and will even show you around their beautiful English style gardens that they put in themselves. The rooms are ample and with a view and be ready for a hearty breakfast! The history of the house, along with their renovations to make it into a B&B are documented and is a great read! I definitely would recommend Greystone Manor!

Greystone Manor is a charming historic home with beautiful sweeping gardens and a lovely view of Comox Bay. It was our last night on Vancouver Island and everything was delightful - our hosts were gracious and interesting and our room was clean and cozy with we a great view of the bay. The house was warm and inviting and Maureen prepared an absolutely delicious breakfast. We especially enjoyed taking some time to walk around their gardens that meander from the house down to the waterfront. An absolutely wonderful B&B experience!

The owners of Greystone Manor did everything well. Beautiful gardens and grounds, good food, clean and tidy accomodation. Very good value for our money!

We stayed at the Greystone Manor for 3 days. We booked the chestnut room - the room is quite small but every thing that we needed was available, very tastefully decorated, English roots of the hosts were visible in all of the rooms. The house is located in a very beautiful garden, full of trees and flowers at the border of the ocean. The first night we encoutered in the small town of Comox : eagles, elks, racoon and seals.
Breakfast was very well balanced : orange juice, eggs, jams, fruit, scones, cake ... all of this were home made - we would have liked a bit more of these goodies .... especially my husband with great appetite.
Mo and Mike respected the privacy of all of their guests, but when needed they were even more than helpful, to give advice, to make phone calls, to make reservations ...
If you are interested in buying as a souvenir native art we highly recommend to have a look at the art that Mike makes (not only the birds ...) before you decide buying something - it will be hard to find artwork of the same high quality !
