Clean and quiet. At night we kept the window open and even though it was on the highway it was quiet.

Dinner at the resturant downstairs was well prepared and the wait staff were excellent. There is a really cool tropical fish tank in the resturant that mezmerized the kids as the tried to see the eels etc.

My only 2 issues:
It is a little far from town. There is nothing in walking distance.

the "Hot tub" is in a room just off the lobby. It is to big to be a hot tub and to small to be a pool. The room is not pleasant to be in. Everything in it echos. So kids making a normal amount of noise suddenly gets magnified. So much for relaxing while they are occupied and everybody in the lobby stares cause they are so noisy. I'm glad our room was not anywhere near the "hot tub"

We stopped here on our way to Banff National Park. In Banff we stayed at well known (and expensive) hotels and resorts, yet this modest Super 8 was by far the most comfortable and most clean place we stayed in our entire two weeks. The beds were so comfortable that I got better sleep here than in my own bed. The staff was also very friendly and accomodating. We had a really late check-in of 2am and even that late the young man was pleasant and efficient. We also needed a late check out and they were very helpful even giving us later than they normally do.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the September long-weekend. We weren't expecting the Ritz Carlton, and by no means did we get it. That being said, there were lots of good things about this place and a few things that could use improvement.

The "Good":
- Large room, which included a mini-fridge and microwave
- No highway noise, despite being the closest room to the highway
- Free breakfast was very good (toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, juice, coffee).
- Hotel was generally quite clean

The "Bad":
- Bed was not very comfortable (extremely firm, probably at the end of its life). They could definitely use an upgrade in this area.
- TV was very old and often the sound did not work properly (we did notice on our way out that they appeared to have many new flat-screen TV boxes in a storage room so perhaps an upgrade is on its way).
- When we first got to our room, there was no shampoo - just a half-used hotel bottle. The front-desk gave us two new travel bottles when we told them, but they were never again replenished over the course of our stay.

This is a good Super 8 Motel. The building is new and everything is in good shape. It is just that it is very overpriced. If I were to return I would look for a much more economical stay at a mom and pop hotel in Radium Hot Springs. Simply, this place is not worth the price.
