This is the second we stayed at this motel for hockey in the winter. The service is always great, the price competitive and is the nicest motel since we compared all of them before booking our complete team here. The kids were occupied with the nice pool and waterslide and the breakfast in the morning is always great. I would recommend this property to any traveler.

We needed a place to stay on our way back home because the weather had turned sour. We didn't want to spend a fortune. The Ramada Limited in Merritt was a good price. With AAA the total was $82 after taxes and fees for a king sized bed.
It had a little wear and tear, it could use some updating. The stuffing on the chair cushion was coming out. There was a spider in the corner that we didn't notice until morning. I'm not sure what was missing, but connections to a dishwasher or fridge were exposed in our room. This is not a conern if you don't have a toddler like we do.
We really liked that there was a pool, hot tub, sauna and water slide. Our little one enjoyed splashing around in the pool with us. This was all in good working order so if you have kids, this is the place to be.
The continental breakfast was great as far as continental breakfasts go. It had a waffle maker, cereal, fruit, yogurt (the yogurt was not on ice however), oatmeal, fruit juices, muffins etc.
There was a Dominos Pizza right inside the hotel so no tipping the delivery guy, just walk right up.
We would stay here again even though the room wasn't amazing.

Stayed at Ramada in Merritt in November of 2011. At first did not know what to expect from hotel as me and wife spent most of the day driving and only when it gets dark do we start looking for hotel.
We were lucky we found the Ramada, The name pretty much says it all. The hotel is very much above average. The rooms were clean and spotless. There was a continental breakfast, free newspaper, but best of all the hotel had a swimming pool and hot tub which made for a great relaxing evening.
It was a quite night and the room was fitted with one of the newer types of heaters that blow heat which is very important in the winter as rooms can sometimes take a long while to warm up.
All in all a great hotel and wonderful stay.

Expected more after reading other reviews. Have paid the same and had much newer facilities/bedding etc in other Ramadas. This place feels like an older motel when you step into your room, pretty bare bones; one pillow each and very flat, so we were glad we had brought our own. Pool is ok, but no place to sit and watch ( one old plastic chair you have to share with those that want somewhere to put dry towels). Staff not welcoming and breakfast just ok. we were very happy to find the nearby Starbucks though.
