Rose and Al made us feel right at home in Port Alberni at the front and back end of our sea-kayaking trip through the Broken Group Islands. Al dropped us off at the dock and picked us up when our trip was over. We had a huge, comfortable room with private bath. Breakfasts were cooked to order. They allowed us to park our car with them for the week. We had driven from Calgary. The vehicle was a bit of a mess. Al washed it for us. What great hospitality all around!

We stayed in The Roses for 2 nights. It was the begining of our 40 days' trip in Canada and it was our first experience with B&B. we had a nice surprise: good hospitality, wonderful service and very nice breakfast.
Rosalie & Al were wonderful and efficient.
We had a spacious basement room with nice private bathroom.
The location suited us perfectly cause we sailed with the Lady Rose to Bamfield and it was great to return to The Roses.

Rose and Al have a great place. Very cosy, clean and friendly. Well located in quiet residential area. Breakfast is just great!

We moved here as our previous B & B cancelled for family reasons. Rose and her husband made us so welcome. We had a large room in the basement, our own bathroom/shower, and the house is in a quiet peaceful place,So great sleep and comfortable bed. It is on the outskirts of town, but yet not far to walk or drive to eat. There is a hot tub for clients use if they so wish, and this was fantastic, after a long day in the car, and walking.
Breakfast was good.. sitting chatting in the conservatory for ages. They are very knowledgeable and helped us get to know about the area. I wish we could have stayed longer!
