I feel a little bad writing this review seeing that Miraloma has now closed....but I kind of understand why. The place was empty when we were there on our belated honeymoon in August 2010. I felt a little mislead by the photos on their site making it seem as though Miraloma sat on expansive gardens and grounds, when really it was just at the end of a cul-de-sac. If felt a little like a high class Embassy Suites to be honest . The free parking was a plus, but for the amount we were paying, I guess something had to be included. The breakfast was a total disappointment. For the price we paid a night ($250) I would expect a very nice buffet or hot menu selection. There were little cereal boxes, bananas, and yogurt. It was almost embarrassing how low budget the breakfast was. I guess they were already in shut down mode? Knowing they closed 2 weeks after our stay, I feel almost more irritated by the price we paid. We wouldn't have returned if it was still an option.
