The hotel was in a great location, close to the water, good restaurants, and shops. It was a good value, and the staff was very friendly. We'd chartered a boat for a week and stayed at the hotel the night before and the night after our sailing trip and the hotel was in walking distance of the marina.

Decided to spend a day in Sidney, ended up celebrating with friends and staying overnight at the Sidney Waterfront Inn. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub when I got back from Dinner at Boondock's down the street. The internet was great for catching up on some business.The best part of staying in town for the evening was the birds waking me up to the most amazing sunrise off my balcony looking over Mount Baker. I could have taken a taxi home, but sure glad I didn't.

We stayed here at the end of a bike trip to the Gulf Islands. We stayed in an inside room with no view as we had to get up very early to bike back to Victoria in time to catch the Clipper. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast for the room was in the fridge and was pretty good. It was nice to have something to eat as we had to leave before most hotel breakfasts are ready. Breakfast consisted of an apple, orange juice and a frozen cheese quesadilla that we heated in the microwave. The hotel let us keep our bikes in the room and there was enough room so was quite convenient. The hotel is on the lovely town boardwalk along the waterfront and there are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. The town of Sydney was charming and well worth strolling around. This hotel was clean, welcoming, helpful and nicely located and we would return.

I stayed at the Sidney Waterfront Inn and Spa while travelling to the Victoria area for a wedding. It has a wonderful location right near the ocean and Sidney is a surprisingly charming little town. The Inn was a decent value, with comfortable beds, although my bathroom smelled a little mildewy. The staff when I was checking in were very helpful, but the lady at the desk at check-out time seemed a little frazzled. Overall, a decent experience.
