Nice clean place. Great pool and hot tub. Very good continental breakfast included. The staff were awesome. I left a bag behind and they send it on by Greyhound bus the next day. Super customer service!

I have stayed in Valemount for the last 20 years for holidays or my trips with the family going to the coast or Sushwap. For that reason we stayed at several places but must say the hosptality of the owners is unsurpassed.
The owners will go out of their way to make you comfortable and attend to your wishes.
We are always happy to be back and it's like coming home.
There is a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, ping pong room, outside is a barbeque area etc., very cozy place.
The place is away from the highway so no noise of all the trucks, close to restaurants and shops etc.

The room was clean but the decor was quite dated. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. It was quiet as there is a field between the room and the road. The staff were friendly. We did get feather pillows that they gladly exchanged for synthetic ones. The breakfast was good/adequate. All in all a good place to stay and we would do it again.

I arrived at the Chalet Continental at 8:30pm on Fri. Aug. 30th expecting to have a room which I had reserved 3 weeks prior. I was told that my reservation was made for Sat. Aug. 31st. When I booked my stay my words were "I will be arriving Fri. Aug.30th approx 9:00pm and leaving Sat. Aug. 31st" the male person who took the reservation made a mistake and put it for the wrong date. I was left standing there with no room and all the man behind the desk would say is "you made the reservation for Aug. 31st", which I did not. This person would not own up to his mistake and would not even call around to find me a room at another hotel. Luckily a woman who I believe her name is Mary, who was also behind the desk offered to find me a room elsewhere, for that I thank her.

If making a reservation with this establishment I would be wary of whether or not you have a room when you arrive.
