I have had the pleasure of staying at the inn a few times now, and also had my wedding there October, 2011.
The Inn is charming, hospitable and unique. It has its 'quirks' and is not the most modern equipped or decorated hotel, however it is exactly what we were looking for and what we wanted, when we were looking to escape the city and getaway to the quaint town of Bracebridge.
The service, all times, was fabulous. All of my wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay/rooms and couldn't ask for more. The bar stayed open late to accommodate all of my out of town family and friends on the Friday night, and everyone who worked there went above and beyond to ensure the weekend was fabulous!
The food is wonderful! Everyone from my wedding is still talking about it - especially the soup to start, and the late night poutine and slider bar! I thoroughly enjoy stopping in at the restaurant whenever I am in the area. From starters to mains to desserts, as well as breakfast in the morning, no one leaves hungry!
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to this appealing inn. The location is fabulous - right around the corner from the downtown street, so it is lovely to take a walk and peruse the shops!
In my year of dealing with the inn, you can tell that they are slowly investing and putting the time into what could be, and is, a very fabulous Muskoka escape!
