“Clean and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2010

Stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting a friend. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. The room itself was much nicer than expected. It was very clean and a decent size. It also had a new flat screen tv. Even though the place was fully booked the night I stayed it was quiet and I had a good sleep. The beds are very comfortable. Nothing fancy in this hotel but it didn't disapppoint and I'll return the next time I'm in Bracebridge.

“Straightforward place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2010

In-room wireless internet worked well, and desk staff was accommodating when I needed to use the printer. The 'continental breakfast' was nothing special, and the lack of an elevator to the second floor was a bit of a hassle. The location is fine, but the surroundings are shopping plazas rather than nature. I had a good night's sleep, though, so I'd recommend this hotel as a non-holiday place to stay.
Note - the directions to the hotel on Google Maps were incorrect . . . I had to call the desk and they guided me in.

“Messed up big time and didn't find a solution”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2010

In December 2009, I booked two rooms at this hotel for mid-March 2010. I received a confirmation number and was quite happy.
I recently received a call telling me that they made a mistake and that they could not give me my rooms. Because of the delay, there are no available rooms in the area now.
In all my years of travel, I have never had this happen. The least management could have done was found me an alternative place to stay instead of simply calling and saying they made a mistake. Not only will I never stay at this Sleep Inn, I am protesting and will never stay at another Sleep Inn again. There are too many alternatives. They should not be treating guests this way!!!

“The best hotel we have found in Bracebridge!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2009

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Bracebridge Sleep Inn and were impressed with its pleasant decor, cleanliness and friendly staff. Since we have a daughter living in Bracebridge we have tried a few accommodations over the past few years...Sleep Inn is by far the best we have encountered!
We stayed in a King bed Suite room, with a sofa bed and spa tub. This room was larger than what we needed and we did notice the regular king rooms were also a good size and would have met our needs. The bed was comfortable (although not a pillowtop), with fresh linens and lots of pillows. The shower was spotless, roomy and had great water pressure. The room also had a mini fridge, 32" flat screen TV and a desk with office style chair. We appreciated the wireless internet in the room (also a computer for guest use in front lobby) and free local calls.
The free continental breakfast which was served in a large, bright area next to the front lobby was sufficient and staff were constantly replenishing and cleaning the area. They had coffee/tea/orange juice, toast, bagels, 2 types of cereal, Quaker oatmeal packets, 2 kinds of packaged muffins (wild blueberry ones were very moist and tasty) and mini sweet rolls.
The hotel is located in a quiet location next to a shopping/restaurant area. We had a wonderful 'hibachi table' dinner at Wabora (Japanese Fusion restaurant) just down the street and would highly recommend that experience too!
We are so happy to have finally found this hotel and will be back!!!

“Basic; but definitely recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2009

We stayed 2 nights here and found the accomodations fine. The room was small but clean. Fair rates including simple continental breakfast, and wireless internet. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning worked very well in our room; better than most hotels I have stayed in. Quiet, no noise.
We even booked last minute, as we had to cancel our pre-booked accomodations due to sub-standard accomodations. (Another review!)
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Bracebridge. There is not many hotel options in Bracebridge. Most stay in cottages or camp, so if you are looking for a hotel I recommend this one. Basic, but definitely suits the needs. Negatives would be no elevators and no pool; but there is a hot tub. Hair dryers are available at front desk.
