“Thanks to the lovely staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

We didn't stay in the hotel, but spent a summer afternoon sipping drinks at the bar, after catching the bus into bracebridge and before strolling into town to enjoy the car show. I wanted to make a point of saying how lovely the front desk lady was. We've come in a few times over the years and she consistently makes us smile. Thanks!

“Very disppointed.”

The room smelled. The toilet was not clean! The fan didn't work at all. The carpet was dirty, with burn holes. Very disappointed. Location good and Bracebridge is fantastic, and you do not have to stay at this hotel to take the Ferry Boat ride either.

Save yourself the hasstle and stay at one of the more reasonable motels. There are much better places than this over priced hotel. Good luck on your travels!!

“Central and affordable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

Stayed at the Riverside Inn on a busy summer weekend. they only had a few rooms left and I was able to book one for a Saturday night. Staff was helpful and the room was adequate. We didn't take advantage of their facilities, but found the hotel close enough to downtown that we could walk into town. For that, it was ideal!

Room Tip: ask for the river side

“They make you feel like family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

I was sent north for a business meeting and my work had booked me into the Riverside Inn. I was a little skeptical at first until I arrived and was greated with smiling faces and over all good feelings from all of the staff. The front desk staff went above and beyond the call of duty and for that I am very thankful. The entire staff talked and starting conversations with me and told me about local spots around the area. It was not only a wonderful hotel but such a beautiful community. Sadly I could only stay for the one night, but plans are already in the works for bringing my family with me for a weekend get away. I think the kids will love the beautiful pool and have fun playing a game or two in the bowling alley.

“The beginning of an outstanding trip.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

My buddy and I would like to thank again the staff of The Riverside Inn for helping to make our 4 day stay in beautiful Bracebridge a time we will always cherish. We took the Ontario Northland bus not knowing where we were going to stay. Unknowingly the bus terminal is at the Riverside Inn. Once checking with the front desk we found the things we were most interested in doing there was quite convenient. The Lady Muskoka Scenic Cruise ship docks right out back, the railway tracks were walking distance, as was everything else we wanted and needed. The rates we were offered were within our budget. It was the beginning of an outstanding trip. There is also a Santa's Village Shuttle that runs all over Bracebridge and at no cost you can get to where you need. It stops right out front of the Riverside also. The rooms were larger than average and comfortable. We were treated very well and were assisted diligently with our needs and requests. If there were to be a suggestion it would be a picnic area out back. When you're in God's country being outdoors is where it's at. Thanks again to Nancy and all the other staff, we'll be back.

Room Tip: Just ask for what makes you happy.
