Rooms are probably roomy if you are 1 person but having 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 4), the room does not give much room for 4 "carry on" sized bags with boots and shoes. The rooms are clean and reasonably new, bathroom has very little room for personal care products on the counter (6" x 2' shelf) located behind the toilet. The sunshine breakfast is a continental breakfast and there is very little seating room for people. It starts getting crowded once 12 people are trying to sit not to mention try and get to the breakfast counter. I have stayed at the Travellodge in Chatham before. There you get a much large room, hot breakfast, large sitting area to eat it in, a lounge area by the fireplace, TV viewing etc.

The service that we received from the front desk staff was excellant. We had special needs and these were looked after in the preparation for our arrival and dealt with promptly on our arrival. The staff anticipated other things that may help our stay and volunteered to go that extra mile to make sure that we were taken care of very well..

We stayed one night here on September 6th. The rate with CAA discount was reasonable. We chose this motel because they accepted our two chihuahuas. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Kudos to the maids - our room and the common areas were very clean and in good shape. The bed was COMFORTABLE - I was surprised, since the beds at Motel 6 are hard as rocks and too small. I never sleep the first night in a new place, and I actually did here because the mattress was perfect. The breakfast in the morning was well done for a continental breakfast - lots of choice and eggs and milk for some protein. We ate 15 minutes before breakfast was closing and it was stocked with fresh food just as well as if we had come earlier. The lady who maintains the breakfast room is really nice and she does a great job keeping the dining area tidy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're visiting the Chatham area.
