We came in on a group package but there was no rooms left at the lower price. We booked anyway and were extremely pleased. The room was spacious and clean, and we even had the front desk call to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The continential breakfast was just what it should be the eggs and sausage were a nice touch.

The only negative thing I would say was a girl at the front desk being extremely rude, not sure of her name but she would have been on duty Saturday September 3rd after 4pm. After speaking to a few people from the group they agreed that she was not very pleasant at all. If she doesn't like to deal with people then she is in the wrong business.

I would definately recommend this hotel and will return.

People at the front desk were not pleasant, Cory was border line rude with us. The hotel is very nice but the front desk service was well below min expectations. They should investiagte how this gentleman handles business if you they any expections repeat customer or Days Inn customers to stay at other locations as well.

Stayed here for a little weekend getaway for our one year anniversary. It ended up being a rainy weekend but we still had a great time at the Collingwood Days Inn. The hotel is clean and appears fairly new. They have an indoor pool and hot tub which we enjoyed in the evenings as it was cool and rainy out. The location is also pretty central, we were w/ in walking distance to the movie theater and the visitor center. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the lobby was cozy and fit in well with the charm of the locale. All in all we had no complaints and found the hotel to be a good value for the area.

We stayed for one night only, as it was the only spot available in town for the night we had in mind. Our room seemed nice enough on first inspection, decor was somewhat tacky, but everything worked and nothing was filthy. That was until about midway through having a shower I looked up at the shower curtain rod and saw 2 dirty wash clothes that did not belong to us, one of which was COVERED in hair. And not the kind that grows on your head. I complained to front desk and asked for a room change, but they were booked solid. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, and agreed to change the sheets on the bed and get rid of the dirty towels, and give us a discount on the room. After returning from dinner we found that the sheets had been changed, but the dirty wash clothes were still there. The front desk staff personally came up and removed them, and was very apologetic. Great and friendly staff, but pisspoor housekeeping and attention to detail.
