“Great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was lovely. It was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need to make some meals and the fireplace was a nice touch. Had a great stay and I will definitely be looking to book there again.

The location of the lodge was great, very central and close to the slopes.

“Beautiful property inside the ski village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

Beautiful property inside the ski village (Very well done). Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance, even in the off season. Cozy fireplace suites with nice wood finishes. Accomodating staff at the conference centre. 8/10

“Great Summer Vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

The Weir Lodge at Blue Mountain was a great place to spend our summer Canadian vacation.
The Lodge is right in the middle of The Village at Blue Mountain, where you have restaurants, shops & Music entertainment in the evenings.

You could stroll through the village or just watch people from our balcony that overlooked the main plaza. The area is wonderful in the summer, even thou it's a sky resort, there are walk on the mountain, horse back ridding, bicycles.. A number of fun things to do.

Room Tip: Choose a room that overlooks the plaza if you like to feel in the middle of all the action or choose...

“Absolutely loved it-we'll be back”

If you have previously stayed here before & didn't like it, I strongly recommend you give it another try. We were moved into Weider after our unit at Cachet Crossing was less than acceptable. This lodge had recently (in the past four months) been totally renovated according to staff. It was absolutely beautiful, modern, comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom for 2 adults & 2 13 year olds. Was perfect size. The master bedroom had a king size comfortable bed with white duvet/comforter. Soft, thick bath towels. Kitchen was well equipped. Flat screen tv over the fireplace, 42" flat screen in bedroom, & everything was spotless. The covered balcony overlooked the village, & was within walking location to everything. Will definitely be back.

“Very nice condo - - wonderful family get away!”

What a great way to get away! I give a very big thumbs up to The Weider Lodge Resort. We stayed for three days in The Weider with an 8 month old baby and it was just perfect! Very clean, organized with all you could need or want. We stayed from Sunday to Tuesday and it was quite affordable, through Expedia ( $ 150.00 per nite ) . We also extended our stay on the 3rd day until 7:00 p.m. and were only charged $ 39.00. Good deal and very helpful with packing up and much needed nap for little one.

Highlights: Fireplace ( just one click away from a cozy fire )
Soaker bath tub!
Cushy bed ( play pen made avail. for baby plus hi chair )
Fully stocked kitchenette
Balcony with pool and mountainside views
Two flat screen televisions
Very clean one bdrm condo with all you could need

Staying at The Weider, we were merely steps to all of the charm of The Village. This was my first time even going to Blue Mountain, so what a treat! Our lodge had its own pool, but you can also pay to go The Plunge with your kids. Our pool was just fine.

We brought some of our own food, but The Village has its own market with food, toiletries and movies you can rent at an affordable price.

Surrounding us were wonderful restaurants, shops of all kinds, beautiful patios & kayaking or paddle board on the lake. Very picturesque and quaint. We took the gondola up the mountainside and hiked with our little one. Note to parents: not a place to bring a stroller - even an umbrella stroller. Too many rocks / uneven terrain. But, wonderful with a Bjorn!

One negative: I would not waste your $$ on The Plunge ( additional pool with slides and an indoor option for little ones ). From the outside, it looks fun. There is a slide and other interests for kids. But, it is $ 14.00 per person to go in!! And, that's for 3 hrs., not per day. No better than your hotel pool experience. I would say, if you have rambunctious kids and need them to be occupied, then do it. But, realize you will be out of pocket quite a bit and the time is limited.

We loved our stay in The Village at Blue Mountain!! We are definitely going back when there will be a fun festival and enjoying even more. Great family trip........... just fell in love with it all!

Room Tip: We stayed in a condo at The Weider. Our condo was a one bdrm with fireplace, kitchenette and balcon...
