The Tulip is some way out of Huntsville which is a mixed blessing as it means that if you're not self-catering then you need to drive into town to eat. On the plus side Huntsville itself isn't exactly quaint, apart from its Main St, so it's better to be out of town. Situated right on the perimeter of the Arrowhead NP it's an excellent location for those wishing to visit there. The rooms are basic but clean and the proprietors are extremely customer-oriented and willing to help.

Nice Motel in a nice setting.
We really had a nice 2 night stay in this region.
BBQ was at disposal so we could grill our own meat.
At 2 minutes walk in the woods, you access a real sandy beach on the river and they land you canoes if you want to have a go at it.
The lady at the reception was very nice and helpfull with us.
What's more to say, all that made us more happy chaps then ever.

We recently sayed at this motel and found the host's be be very freindly and helpful. The grounds are well kept with clean rooms. There is a private beack on the river that was very refreshing. I would highly reccomend this location to folks that want to unwind! They even have a cute secluded three bedroom cottage for a very reasonable rate. Enjoy We did!

A group of friends and I stayed at the Tulip Inn this past weekend, July 2011.

The owners were very friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome. Our rooms were impeccably clean and the size was very adequate. The temperature in the rooms was set perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was a nice treat, it was stocked, the food was fresh and tasted great.

The location could not be any better, just minutes away from downtown Huntsville, and Arrowhead Provincial Park. There were a number of golf courses as well as some fantastic fishing spots nearby. We were surprised by the secluded private beach, the water was crystal clear, very clean. There was lots of seating and picnic benches.

The hotel is kid & animal friendly which is a real bonus for family vacations.

We were very impressed to say the least and I will definately be visting again soon.
