We were travelling as a group and this was one of the few hotels that still had enough rooms available for all of us. The hotel is well located, easy access to the expressways to take you around the KW area.
Since this was a group booking, we were given rooms on the first 2 floors (not in the "business tower" nor in the Priority Club area, despite being a PC member). This part of the hotel has no elevators and the rooms are located within two very long corridors. If you are staying in that part of the hotel, I advise not unloading your car before check-in. There are 2 access doors for that part of the hotel that you can use once you get your keycard.
The rooms were clean but had a bit of a double personality; the beds (comfortable) and furniture were updated, the bathroom was dated (but clean). Our room did not have a thermostat, so temperature control was hit or miss with the hot/cold dial. I also didn't find a way to adjust the fan, so it was on all night (and moderately noisy).
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was typical hot buffet fare; eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, potatoes, and a variety of baked goods, cereals and fruit. PC members get a discount on meals, and with children under 12 being free, this ended up being a good option. Our group of 30 ate supper at the same restaurant, and I was impressed by the staff who managed to feed us in a timely manner, despite us not having a reservation, and 3 other functions happening at the same time.
The only complaint I have is the lack of bar fridge in the room. It would be nice to be able to store restaurant leftovers for when the kids get hungry late at night.
