Maggie and Gord, two very gracious hosts who have taken on the B&B experience in their retirement, do a remarkable job of being attentive yet unobstrusive. Of their two rooms, we booked the Queen room with the old-fashioned claw foot tub (a great soaking tub if you like baths), which was well appointed, extremely clean, pampering (robes, slippers, chocolate treats, bath products, etc.) and very quiet. Though there was another couple across the hall, and Gord and Maggie in their private residence, all we could hear were the birds signing through the open window and the gentle whir of the ceiling fan. The room is air conditioned if that is your preference. Treats were left for us each afternoon along with cold and hot beverages in the guest common area. There are books, magazines, board games, etc. and a lovely, breezy porch with copula (hand made by Gord!) to sip a glass of wine or whatever. The breakfasts were hearty and interesting, making use of local products while balancing savoury with sweet so that there was something for everyone. Highly recommend a stay at this charming B&B!

Thank you for all your detailed comments about your stay at Between The Maples.
We believe that staying at a B&B should be "A Different Experience" and we are always looking for ways to fulfill this goal. Breakfast each morning is different and uses produce from local farmers or our own garden, jams, fruits and vegetables when available. The new Gazebo is proving to be a great place to relax, read, or chat. Maybe the renovations to the porch will be completed by your next visit.
Your Hosts, Gord & Maggi
