“Nasty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2010

The room smelled bad, the carpet was torn and stained. In making my reservation I had made it known I was checking in early, but was still charged $10/hr until 3:00pm for an early check in fee. The price given was NOT the price I booked at.
The bathroom was dirty around the sink and toilet. The area around the microwave was littered.
I could not get my $ back, but left to stay with my brothers in another area hotel.
Nasty, nasty nasty sums up my experience.
Never again.

“Cheap and satisfactory but noisy air conditioning”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

The Travelodge was perfectly satisfactory but nothing special. One of the beds wasn't very well made and the undersheet came loose in the night. The air-conditioning was very noisy and we had to switch it off overnight. Breakfast was fine.

“Nice hotel for stay”

Hotel is clean and the room seen like new ,they painted not too long ago.It got ref. and microwave. The door have a gap about 1 inch from the floor so you can hear people talking outside. It sit on Yonge St and bus run to downtown Toronto. A good stay around Markham but a litter far from downtown( 25 min.with traffic) Free wifi and parking. The stuff is very friendly. We do have little trouble finding parking because the bar have party on Sat. night ( big lot good for 100 cars but still.). Lot of places to eat around the hotel. Free breakfast incl. coffee, bread, egg, juice and waffer but close early (9:30)

“Good hotel but so far to downtown Toronto”

This is a good place to stay alone to visit a friend or family in Toronto but you need rent a car.
Although the distance, you can see the city of Toronto thru the Yonge Street, day and night

“Ugh!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2008

At first, the counter staff was lovely. Very helpful and nice. When we got to our room it was sort of clean, the bathroom was gross, everything was old and smelly. It stank of stale cigarettes in a non-smoking room. There was no hair blow dryer, and when i called front desk they were very rude about it. As the night progressed the front desk manager became a nightmare to deal with. Very rude and condesending to my boyfriend and I. I would never stay here again.
