REASON FOR MY STAY: Birthday Party in Trenton
ROOM: My friends and I rented this room because we were staying in Trenton for a birthday party. The check in went very smoothly and room rates were very cheap. The rooms are very standard, nothing wonderful or overly the top. They have the bare essentials and nothing else. The rooms are never big and bathrooms are very small. Avery all there was nothing bad with the hotel, it is great for business class people that travel. Parking is free, which is always great.

At over $100 per night, you expect certain things from a hotel. Water that stays at a constant temperature is definitely one of those things. The water temperature was rarely constant in our shower. The shower level did not work either, causing the tub to fill up with water while showering. Another thing you'd expect from these higher prices is key cards that work. Over the course of two days we had to have our keys redone at the front desk four times - one of these times was during the hockey guests getting their rooms causing us to wait over 40 minutes to be able to get back into our rooms while being wet from a visit to the pool. Of course we were hardly impressed. Speaking of the pool, the key card system for that broke down during our visit as well. One good point was the hotel hired a guard to keep the hockey kids and parents in line during the evening hours. Unfortunately there was only one guard and he was only able to be in once place at a time - too bad for us it wasn't near the exit door by our room where all the kids were running around the stairwell for most of the evening.

All in all it was an ok stay if we had set our expectations lower. In all honesty we had little choice but to stay here - it is the only hotel in the area that we found allowed us to bring our little dog.....

I needed a place to sleep on my way to Hamilton. The Holiday Inn fit the bill as it is very close to the highway and was reasonably priced. I had a great night's sleep, the bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not familiar with this area so they helped me find a place to eat supper.

The room had a small fridge, a TV, free wifi, and a coffeemaker.

I guess my only complaint would be that the windows don't open and the air in the room was very stuffy. For one night is was fine, but I think it would bother me with a longer stay.

Stayed at this hotel after touring the Sandbanks area. Very good hotel that was clean, modern,bright and updated. We had two rooms with three adults, two children and three dogs. Pet fee of 15.00 a night, hotel is pet-friendly. Hotel has a nice indoor pool and amazing buffet breakfast, kids eat free. Hotel restaurant was very convenient day of arrival. Hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly and Hotel is close to the 401 and not far from the Sandbanks region, about 25 minutes. Will stay there again.
