I reserved a room at the Knights Inn Welland on the night of New Years Eve through Hotels.com. When I arrived to check in, the desk clerk told me that I got the last room and that there would be others promised a room but wouldn't be able to be accomodated.I took the room (102), and as I entered it, noticed a huge stain in the carpet surrounding the walls of the bathroom. Everything was dry when we first arrived (10:30pm). When I returned to my room after celebrating New Years, I noticed a few dripps of what I assume was water, dripping down from the grill of the light fixture above the bathroom sink. After sleeping the rest of the night, the entire floor of the bathroom was covered in a 1/4 inch layer of discoloured water or liquid. I no longer had the urge to use the facilities or have a shower.Upon leaving, I told the desk clerk of the situation. She told me that she couldn't do anything for me since I booked through a third party (Hotels.com)NOT IMPRESSED!!!
