The Creekside Inn is just wonderful. I especially liked the loft arrangement which I believe they have in most rooms.
This makes the rooms very spacious and cozy. But the best was the view from the room straight on to this amazing montain panorama.
The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We received so many great tips and recommendations.
The location is also really good (just on the outskirts of Canmore). So it's a really quiet area where you have walking trails basically starting straight from your doorstep but if you want to go into Canmore town it's only a 5 min drive and there you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. Canmore itself has an excellent location only being 2km away from Banff National Park, 20min drive into Banff and 1 hour to Lake Louise. All in all just a great place! I would definately stay there again.

Other than the stairs I really enjoyed our stay at Creekside Country Inn in Canmore. I espcially liked the bedroom/loft area (despite the stairs). For the first time on our 2 week trip I could sleep undisturbed while my husband watched TV downstairs in the living room. Everything was clean & ship shape. We had a heck of a view from our room's windows. The complimentary breakfast was very nice & there was plenty of everything. I loved the feel of this place, it was very cozy & warm. Almost as homey as a B&B but, better. We had our dogs with us & it was great to be able to walk them in the park around the corner & in addition to that there was a very interesting walking trail right across from the park. Downtown Canmore was a 5-10 minute drive away.

I thought I'd leave another review, because we have stayed here a number of times and have always enjoyed it. After reading a few of the negative reviews, I was worried that perhaps things had changed, but our last stay was excellent. Kirsty honoured the lower rate for us for the long weekend, even though it was meant to be a higher rate, and when we arrived, the staff were as friendly and respectful as ever. I was worried there would be some animosity over the rate, but there was none whatsoever. There was also a wedding party staying over, but we had no problems with noise - just a few doors opening and closing late at night, and then it stopped at a decent hour. We will be back again and again. Thanks for being so kind to our little doggie, who always loves staying there as well!

We found this B&B on a Pet Friendly website in a great location that was very quiet. On arrival we were met by the owner who is very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and at home. Our dog (westie) was very welcome and loved it. The B&B is very clean, airy and well presented. The loft room was very comfortable. In the area around the B&B there is a bakery and a gastro pub. Breakfast was all home made, with magnificent scones, muffins, bagels and cereals along with fresh fruit, yoghurts and copious amounts of coffee, tea and juices. A great place.
