Very cute, charming b&B style hotel- loved the look of it from the outside, and the location next to the cougar creek canyon was lovely. The room was adequate, clean, and had a nice view, although the fridge was very small and froze most of our veggies. We had phoned in advance to confirm thier pet friendly policies, and so were suprised at the long list of rules we had to sign upon arrival. We do our best to be unobtrusive guests, and have very well behaved dogs, but we felt very anxious all weekend that we would be evicted for breaking some of thier less friendly rules...ie: dogs are not allowed to bark. Our dogs aren't yippy, but all dogs bark sometimes- especially when someone is making lots of noise in the hallway. Some of the other less than pet-friendly rules included that dogs were not allowed to be left unattended in the room for any length of time, even if crated. this made eating very difficult. I was also dissapointed that for a place that advertises itself as a b&B, breakfast was a brief (8am-9am) contiential similar to a super 8. i've had more selection for breakfast at large chain hotels. The 1 hour window made it difficult for us, as we had to try and eat in shifts, because we couldn't bring our dogs down, and we couldn't leave them in the room. Our romantic vacation was definitely disturbed as we did our best to avoid being evicted- with no refund- if pets aren't welcome, they shouldn't advertise as pet friendly.
