Apparently Diamond Resorts exchangers get the worst room. Ours was on the ground floor above the underground parking garage door - even though there were other empty rooms.
The TV in the living area was missing the remote. It took 3 days to get a new one after being told that maybe we didn't look hard enough for it because the previous guests never complained. We moved every stick of furniture looking for it. It's not that we are too lazy to get off the couch to change the channel, but if you want to see the TV guide on channel 2, and the program you want to watch is on channel 52, you have to hit the channel button 50 times. On a positive note: It does have cable TV.
Compared to other timeshares, we were disappointed with the one frying pan. There was no spatula. No salt and pepper. The largest glasswear would only hold about 8 ounces with ice. On a positive note: The fridge has an icemaker.
As others have commented, the free internet access is through a 'wired' port in the kitchen. Fast, but you need to bring your own wireless router if you want 'wifi' type access that is typically available at even the cheapest hotels (my timeless timeshare complaint about internet access).
