Invited the in-laws to the family time share. Nice to have two private bedrooms and a full kitchen -- good family time and good space! Very quiet and secluded location -- ideal for getting away from it all.

I reserved this unit through a timeshare swap with II. There were not any recent reviews when my swap was made. I was worried about my choice. I was very happy with the resort when we got there. The unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living/dining area, kitchen and small balcony. The bed was comfortable. I didn't cook while we were there but the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook and serve meals. Our unit was in the back and we had a very nice view of a wooded area. There is also underground parking available which was nice when it rained. We would stay here again if we go back to Canmore.

After 9 long hours of driving from BC having been stuck at several road constructions and the clean up of debris from the landslide at Field we finally arrived at our destination 10 minutes past the appointed hour for check in. We were all pretty tired so my husband and I went into the lobby to check in to find no one at the counter but there was a lady talking to someone in the office who was aware that we were there but chose to ignore us. After standing around for a few minutes we asked if someone would be able to check us in. This lady (Georgina) very rudely looked at her watch and told us we were 15 minutes late and she was going home and would not be able to check us in that we should have checked our instructions when we made our reservation. We apologised and told her that we had been stuck in traffic going into and out of Golden etc which had added almost 2 hours to our journey . She just shrugged her shoulders. Then another lady appeared that was in the side office - very nice lady who said she would be happy to check us in and it was not a problem as she was there anyways. She chatted to us (I think she could see that we were feeling a little upset). She was so helpful and made up for the abruptness and rudeness of the other lady.
Yes, we were at fault being 10 minutes late, but we have never been spoken to so rudely. We were shocked as we are in the hospitality industry ourselves and understand that people get delayed and would never dream of speaking to somebody like she spoke to us.
All in all this is a lovely resort. We have stayed there before and chose it again this time because it so lovely and quiet and the staff (were/used to be) friendly. maybe she was just having a bad day ......... It would be such a shame if this one person ruined the experience for everyone else.

We are thrilled that we have been successful exchanging this resort. The unit was very nice and well kept. The area was absolutely beauful. We will definitely stay here again!
