I would recommend Birch Haven to anyone travelling to Banff or Canmore. When I first arrived I was a little surprised at the complex birch haven is located in. It is an apartment right down town canmore. However, as soon as you enter the room you realize it is more special and the details are impeccable. It is very spacious, there was room for four of us comfortably. (one couple and two teenagers). We booked to originally have 6 people and it would have been fine space wise. There is one bedroom, a loft with the most beautiful bed ive ever seen, and a pull out couch. The decorations inside birch haven are unique and reflect the atmosphere of the canadian rockies quite well. Another added bonus is the ROOFTOP hot tub. There is a kitchen and washer and dryer and everything is new and spotless. I would give this five stars all around. The only reason why I put three on the service is because its NOT a hotel. There is no room service or check in. Three stars for friendly and informative booking though. Would definetley stay again. Cannot find my pictures but the website shows them accuratley.
