My husband and I stayed here 3 weekends ago with our 2 children and we had the most comfortable stay possible. The chalet we stayed in was very large, very clean and we loved having full kitchen facilities. Being a young family we found the room rates to be affordable and even then they offer special discounted rates throughout the year- we stay in the Christmas in November rate which was unbeaten by any other hotel we could find in Canmore. The unit had a warm homely feeling, it even included a gas fire place. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone who what’s the experience of a simple cosy family holiday without all the added extra that cost you an arm and a leg.

This is the perfect place to come with a group of people and small children and the price is definitely right! I love it that it has 2 floors so the kids can all be put to bed and the adults can play games and hang out. We chose the train and would probably switch to the other side for next time. It was incredibly clean and perfect for a longer stay, with all the storage space. We really enjoyed our stay here and you cannot beat that price. We were 5 adults and 3 kids and everyone slept comfortably and had a great time. We will definitely be back!

I'll come back and stay here again.. its cheap but youve got what you want for 3 bedroom 1 full bathroom and half ,,, complete accesories in the kitchen etc. If you dont want the noise go to the other side were in the side the train passes by what a great view in the morning!! i love it.

I read other trip advisor reviews so I knew what to expect. It is very economical for around 6 people. My wife and I stayed with three friends (5 people) and found it comfortable. It had 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen included a dishwasher which was nice to have for clean up. I am writing this review before final check out but the bill should be around $140 as we are in the off season. We chose to stay in the Cougar Chalet which is close to the road but furthest from the train as I am a light sleeper. In the master bedroom (king sized bed) I did not really hear the train. My friends did but said they had no problems sleeping.

The chalet itself was a little dated and warn out but felt like a home.
