Wicked nice place. Nicely furnished. The restaurant service was exceptional but it is the typical fancy expensive place where the meal and service were really good but I still left feeling hungry because the serving size wasnt much, especially for what we paid.

Went here spent 2 nights to propose to my girlfriend and the staff was absolutely amazing!! They were all very friendly, EXTREMELY helpful and were willing to help you for any of your needs. Blaine at the front desk especially helped me out in a tremendous way he gave great suggestions and the staff was kind and friendly and made it very enjoyable.
The rooms are very spacious, clean, ours had a full kitchen, washer dryer, and a steam shower. The room also had a BBQ and all the tools you needed including free coffee. If you want to eat out the restaurant at the hotel "Habitat" is very good, with again amazing service, and a great menu. The food was excellent and they a 3 course menu for only $35 per person.
I definitely recommend it, and they are really close to the highway to get in and get out, there are also a ton of other amenities including grocery stores, sports shops, rentals, Korean BBQ, etc.
I have never stayed here before, but without a doubt I am coming back and hopefully soon.
Thanks to everyone at the Grande Rockies Resort for helping us in our special time, and I hope others will enjoy this place as well.

i had a wonderfull stay at the grande rockies hotel my suite was delightfull it had very comfertable surroundings the staff were excellent and the town of canmore is delightfull such a lot to do would stay here again thank you very much for a great stay

We checked in our room early evening and were impressed with our one bedroom suite. My husband went out on the balcony later that night and came right back in saying that there were bird droppings all over the balcony floor. It was dark outside at that time and when I looked I did see a lot on the BBQ but did not see how bad the deck was. The next morning my husband went out on the balcony again and called me to come and look. I cannot believe what I saw. Mounds of droppings, defacing façades all over the bbq, the table and chairs and even an pigeon egg that had obviously dropped out of a nest. Disgusting. We soon went out for the day and stopped at the front desk to ask to have it cleaned and sanitized or move us. Upon our return we found a note from housekeeping in our room saying they were sorry and the balcony had been cleaned. I could not find myself using the bbq that night like we planned as I was not convinced the bbq had been cleaned all that well. When we checked out the next day I again mentioned how disgusted I was having to see the bird droppings and again I got an apology. I asked if there was any money taken off of my bill and the lady said she was unable to do that as the amount had already been applied to my credit card and she could not reverse any of the charges. she then printed out my receipt and again I told her how disappointed I was that nothing could be done and between taxes and a 15.00 "resort fee" being charged that I was unaware of my bill was 60.00 more than I thought it was going to be. Again, the inside of the room was very clean and if it wasn't for having beautiful weather the 2 nights we were there we probably would have never noticed that mess out on our deck. Check your room before you have your room charges put on your credit card.
