This is our first stay and we will be back. The rooms have everything you need including heated floors in the washroom and sound system through out.
The suites are a great size with alot of extras and for the price you pay it is an absolute bargin.
Loved it and will be back.

Hands down, our favourite place to stay in Banff/Canmore, and we have tried dozens. I have stayed for at least 6 vacations since it first opened. My first visit left me wondering if anyone had ever been trained in guest relations, but as with any new establishment, it had its growing pains, but they have improved drastically, thankfully. I have stayed here in every season and for different reasons- as a romantic getaway with hubby, girlfriend weekends, hiking weekend, couples ski weekend and weekend with the family. All condos are beautifully appointed, comfortable beds, blackout blinds for those late sleep ins, great bathrooms and fully equipped for dining in. We have eaten at the onsite restaurant- decent sushi, not the best, but top of the line for Canmore. Hot tubs are always soothing and nice touch having music playing. Have used spa services-amazing. Love that they have dvds available at front desk. Walking distance to Crazyweed restaurant, excellent food. There is a few fast food restaurants and other places only a few minutes walk away. Steam shower has been broken for at least a year, and not sure why it hasn't been repaired yet, and yes, there are some areas that could use a more thorough cleaning, but if you want excellent value in a gorgeous condo, this place can't be beaten.

We booked a spur of the moment ski weekend to Lake Louise and decided to check accommodations in Canmore instead of Banff this time. With two adults and two teenage boys, we would need at least two hotel rooms. However, the one bedroom condo we found in Canmore fit our needs perfectly and the low price was more than worth having to travel an extra ten minutes down the road. We will definitely be back!

My fiance and I stayed at Silver Creek Lodge for a weekend in January 2012. We flew into Calgary and made the quick drive to Canmore in a rental car. After a minor snafu with the GPS (for some reason, the Garmin GPS did not bring us to the right location - we didn't program in the address of the hotel, but rather used the search feature selected the hotel), we arrived at the beautiful Silver Creek Lodge!
We stayed in the one bedroom suite - with full kitchen, living room, and decorative fireplace. The kitchen came with pots, pans, serving dishes, utensils, and coffee pot with coffee and filters. Per reception request, we started the dishwasher right before we checked out. The bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. Like the kitchen, the bathroom had impeccable finishes and felt very luxurious. We parked our car in the heated, underground garage. Can't comment on the spa or jacuzzi, as we didn't use those during our stay.
Silver Creek Lodge has an excellent location - Safeway is right around the corner, as well as Canmore's main street with excellent restaurants. We ate at the Grizzly Paw Pub twice (recommended by the airport customs agent, as was Silver Creek Lodge!). We also ate a Craig's - a low key family diner walking distance from Silver Creek Lodge. We spent one day of the trip ice climbing with On Top Mountaineering (I highly recommend these folks - our guide was phenomenal!). The next day, we took the bus to Sunshine Village for awesome skiing (the bus picked us up right on the main road behind Silver Creek Lodge and dropped us off - it was SUPER convenient - we walked from the hotel, wore our ski boots right on the bus, and hopped on the gondola not 100 yards from where the bus dropped us off).
We couldn't have asked for more comfortably or practical accommodations - I highly recommend Silver Creek Lodge.
