Checking in was easy, had a reservation and they were ready for me with the exact room I had asked for. I was recognized as a Priority Club member and received bottled water. Check out was a snap, bill was left under the door, didn’t even have to go to the front desk. The room had two Queen beds with a balcony and lake view, fridge, and microwave. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Great location, right on the lake but this time of year there were a lot of small flies when out for a walk.
Quite a good restaurant attached to the hotel, had a breakfast and a dinner there. There was also a fancy dining restaurant in the hotel and I ordered a couple of pizzas one night, they arrived on time and were very good, enough left over for dinner the next night, one would have been plenty for 2 people.
There was a girls’ soccer team staying on the same floor but they were very quiet. All staff we met were very polite and had a positive attitude. I forgot a toothbrush but they had a free one (new) available at the front desk. Did not use them but the pool, hot tub, and exercise room were all a nice size with towels supplied.
Enjoyed many of the wineries in the area, up to Oliver, there were way too many to taste at. When leaving the hotel heading east after about a kilometer there is a fruit stand on the south side that has fresh pie’s being made throughout the day, both the apple and peach were excellent.
Would definitely stay there again.
