Spent the night to watch the UFC fights with my boyfriend at LuLus Lounge. We stayed in the new Hotel side and from the first moment it was great. The valet was all smiles and helped with the smalll amount of luggage we had. When we got into our room I had to stop myself from jumping on the luxurious king sized bed! What a dream! Loved the Iphone music dock, nice to see those here same as the hotels in Las Vegas. Great service at Lulus lounge and I highly recommend the Chorizo Burger Bites! Amazing! Had the best sleep ever in the bed, just might have to buy one. Buffet breakfast was so tasty, be cafeful bacon lovers it's all you can EAT. Staff is friendly, food was fresh and reasonably priced and the rooms were so clean and nicely updated. My overall experiance was 5 stars, both my boyfriend and I had a fantastic time. Did not have a chance to visit the Absolute Spa or pool but is definitely on my list for the next mini vacay. Wish we could do it more often :)

This resort is just minutes away from the airport and has a Skytrain station for easy transportation downtown. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The layout was great with the bedrooms on opposite sides of the spacious sitting area. Each room had a tv and a view of the river. The bathroom was quite roomy and well appointed. It was one of the most comfortable hotel stays I have ever had.

I did not dine at the restaurants even though we had complimentary breakfast tickets. However, we had the most exceptional evening room service. Three meals, all perfectly satisfying. They clearly came from the main dining kitchen and my filet rivaled any I have ever eaten.

Staff members were courteous and eager to help. Check-in was fast and the receptionist was prepared with answers for all of our questions. When our room service arrived the attendant was quite willing to return with any extras we might have needed. The bar and casino attendants were similarly helpful.

We booked our stay same day by signing up for I Prefer and were very grateful for our complimentary bottle of wine.

There were some negatives. Although there are plenty of parking spots, you have to walk the entire length of the casino. I also wasn't enamoured with the casino layout. There were plenty of tables but I didn't recognize many of the games. Additionally, the poker tables were not conveniently located.

That being said, I would have no difficulty staying here on my next trip out west.

I have gone for special nights out a number of times at River Rock. I have had girls weekends, a romantice night or two and stayed before leaving for an early morning flight.

This place has always been a great experience for me and anyone I have gone with. The hotel staff are amazing and while sometimes there may be a line up, this is expected, Its a busy place, they have everything there. Hotel, casino, theatre and great resturants. I really like the live music lounge in the casino, great time and cool crowd.

If you have not stayed at the River Rock, do so, you will not regret.

This was a great hotel! As you can see from the pictures the hotel itself is quite beautiful. The lobby is awesome, the outside is gorgeous, and the rooms are very nice. For the price I paid it was one of the best values I have ever experienced while travelling!

Aesthetics - Very pretty hotel. Tons of great picture opportunities. This hotel has a slight forest theme, with rocks and plants all over. The waterfalls outside the doors are awesome, and the main lobby door is a sight to be seen.

Parking - Lots of parking, but it is quite a walk to the room. This place is huge, and there is a large casino that shares this parking lot. The good news is the hotel has spots just for guests and there is never any trouble finding parking. Just be ready for a walk through the casino or around the side to where the rooms are located.

Service - GREAT staff. We didn't have too much interaction with the staff, but the brief encounters we had we found them to be very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff as well did an awesome job.

Room - Very nice room! The beds were so comfy, the sitting area was big, and the details were well worth the price. The door between the sitting area and the bedroom was very cool. For the price we paid, we got amazing value.

Location - It's in Richmond, which isn't exactly walking distance to downtown Vancouver, but it is literally attached to a Skytrain station! The Skytrain is quick and fun. It takes you straight downtown. I would definitely stay here again because of how convenient the Skytrain was. There is also some stuff to do in Richmond. I would recommend the Asian market/festival that takes place in the summer.

Casino - Nice Casino. We didn't spend a ton of time here, but we did a little gambling and had lunch and it was quite nice.

Overall this is a beautiful hotel and I will strongly consider staying here next time I'm in Vancouver.
