Returning home to Ottawa post our wonderful vacation in Hawaii. Very impressed with the room and the service at La Quinta. Staff were very professional and assisted in whatever our requests were which weren't many. We got in quite late so the restauant was already closed, but take out menus and phone book helped us to order out and was delivered quickly. Very clean room, and the bed was so super comfortable that we inquired about the type/make of bed when we returned home and although it was not available anymore, we purchased the newer version out from Simmons. And you can collect points as well and receive friendly email reminders of any specials coming up. We would not hesitate to stay and recommend this Inn totally.

Don't be fooled by the 2* rating of this hotel. It's a very nice, new, super clean and pleasant property. The reception personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Spacious room, generous sized bathroom, free wi-fi, newspaper in the morning and delicious breakfast - more than you could expect for your money.
Then a free 10 minutes shuttle to the airport. Location of this little gem is just perfect: near the airport and yet quiet and calm with plenty of restaurants (mostly Asians) around it. That's my hub for my next trips out to Vancouver for sure.

I booked this hotel not being familiar with the area, but wanted a hotel close enough to the airport that they give you free shuttle. I did not regret it. Well run, clean hotel with friendly staff. Generous breakfast, although the hot food was not kept war enough. THe waffle was good.

The bonus is you are in the middle of the Asian commercial area, with dozens of restaurants in the surrounding area.

The Skytrain is close by too, great for getting into Vancouver downtown.

We had a long term stay here about 10 days. Rooms were clean, breakfast not so great but there are chinese breakfast restaurant across the street. Good Value but you need a car to really go anywhere. Would stay here again
