We were very impressed with the hotel. The staff very friendly, the rooms looked remodelled and very clean, beds very comfortable and so close to airport about a 5 minute shuttle. We just weren't impressed with the Pier restaurant, food wasn't the best but the view and atmosphere was very good! Will definitely return to this hotel!

For the price you can't beat it. If you are doing a long trip over 7 days, stay here for the parking deal.

The rooms are clean. And the views are great if you upgrade to runway mountain view.

The food in the hotel is quite good, but if you want something different the taxi cost is not much to get something different.

The parking deal is the best. If you park at the airport it would cost you 140 bucks for seven days, so for 140 at the hotel and includes parking, start your trip off right.

The shuttle is quick, so you won't wait long.

The staff are great and will help you with ever you need. They are eager to please.

Only thing I didn't like is that you can't lower the thermostat below a certain temp. I like my room cold to sleep, and I couldn't lower the temp to what I like for sleeping.

location excellent....close to airport (shuttle)....on the water with a great restaurant on the pier....wonderful place to sit and watch the sunsets and the airport.....marina on location so lots to do and see.....rooms are very nice and clean

I got a good rate @ Delta YVR for an overnight to Cuba last week. Check in was smooth and painless and we were assigned a room in an older section, no big deal, it was what i paid for. On check in I noticed a slight smoke smell (as a born again non smoker, i can tell) and asked the maid outside if she smelled it-she agreed someone has smoked in the room. Now keep in mid the entire hotel is non smoking. I informed the desk just to make sure I didnt end up getting charged a cleaning fee and we went shopping for the day. When we returned, there was a message from the duty Manager asking if our room was now okay and to apologize for the odour. He offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which we accepted which was lovely and well beyond the call of duty. I was actually a bit embarressed at how well we were treated :-).
So kudos to the staff for excellent customer service and for going above and beyond, youve earned a loyal customer!
