We travelled to Vancouver in the middle of January, not a good choice, but arriving in Richmond we stayed at the Days Inn, only because the Days Inn in our home town of Medicine Hat has a great reputation......the room was spotless and the service was second to none!

I visited this hotel prior to my early morning flight out of Vancouver. It met my needs for the reasonable price I paid. Front desk personnal were very helpful in ensuring in free shuttle to the airport & wake up call were set up for me. The room appeared clean upon 1st look. Unfortunately the bathroom mirror had several splatters from other guests left on it. Each room has individual heat control. The fan for the heater was much too strong for that small space though. Dispite several attempts to adjust it, it was very warm when it was on & became very chilly when it was off.
Breakfast started at 5:30am which suited my needs perfectly & the shuttle was on time. These were my biggest concerns in booking a pre-flight hotel so the hotel rated well in that area.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel from one night prior to starting our vacation, and one night a week later, on our way home. We found this hotel to be excellent value for the price, and we were happy that the breakfast started so early (at 5:30am), as we were able to grab a bite prior to our flight. The rooms were just what we needed, although no frills, a comfortable bed, and clean bathroom were great! The hotel is located within walking distance to River Rock Casino, in case you have any extra time in the evenings to do some gambling, or grab a quick bite!

Had a room with a king size bed for the night of Jan 01, 2012 on our way back to Calgary from Mexico City. The room was clean, the service was great, and of course the Belgian waffles for breakfast were out of this world. Free wifi in the hotel and free parking for the rental car. You can't beat that. There's also a Starbucks a block away.
