We were staying for the Grey Cup and were leery about the location and quality we should expect. No reason to worry: our check-in was smooth and friendly, we got a good price and even changed rooms twice with no problems or trouble of any sort. The breakfast was good quality and the coffee, unusual for a breakfast room in a B & B situation, was quite good.
The only problems we encountered related to some weird convolutions in their ventilation system, whereby cigarette smoke kept wafting through our bathroom vent from a room of smokers (fined by the hotel, we were told) beneath our room. As well, some sort of local accident down the block briefly knocked out our electricity but this was all rectified as quickly as they could get it done and it wasn't a major difficulty. Otherwise, the room was dandy. Oh, and the skytrain is not far away.
Room Tip: Away from the elevators.

Dear riderfan23,
Thank you very much for your review on our hotel. We sincerely apologize for the smell of cigarette smoke in your room through the ventilation. To ensure the safety and quality experience of all our guests, our hotel is 100% non-smoking and the guest who was found smoking in the room was fined $200 plus taxes. We apologize that you experienced this, but we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding of the power outage system. As all our staff prioritize the safety of all our guests at any given occasion of an emergency or power outage, we thank you for your understanding.
