Unfortunately this hotel is officially 2 star and i wonder why many sites advertise it as 3 star . Anyway i must say that the room was terrible , i was very very disappointed when i faced it .It was like as the hotel was built and never renewed !!! I've been with my wife but we had twin beds which was very small ...The wood of the beds was Sweden . The main entrance o f the hotel was made by Sweden wood too . I must confess that it was the worst room i had ever seen !!! We stayed for one night and we payed the extreme amount 75euro !!! The breakfast was really good ,the staff was pleasant ,it was not even 1 minute near the sea , it was about 8km from the center of Nafplio and if you go Drepanon in Winter you will be totally alone . Check my foto of the room before you decide ...

The beach was very good for the area. The room was dirty, very narrow, it has been never renewed. Everything was very old. The stuff at the reception was nice. If they don't renew this hotel don't go there.

After staying at the sister hotel near Athens we decided to try out this one and see some sites in the original capital of Greece. The staff we found immediately warm and quite funny which we loved. There is a great swimming pool with a bar conveniently located adjacent, but the proximity to the sea was what was really amazing. In the morning you just take your coffee from the provided breakfast and walk along the sea in awe of how glassy and pretty the water is. You can do a nice walking loop around the area good for photos and wind up in the small town that is quite cute. There is also a good restaurant and outdoor bar just down the street that was nice at night - we were not looking for anything too crazy so it was perfect. The clientele was a bit older, but we did not mind as we were heading to the islands for bigger fun later. The town of Nafplion is quite close too by car so we were able to see the sites and get some culture in. If you want to stay in a more quite spot than the main town and like having a beach so close, this is a great choice.
