After you have worked out how the English road system works, Chombeys in the small village of Tollerton is easy to find. When we first arrived, it was a little disconcerting to enter the back of the house, and find no way of notifying that we had entered, but the hostess quickly found us. Chombeys is a large private house that has been converted to a bed and breakfast. We were given the choice of a room with shower or bath and chose claw footed bath. The room was lovely and large with excellent tea and coffee facilities. The large feather bed mattress was a little uncomfortable with a noticeable dip, I had to resort to putting my pillow underneath to shore it up, but once I did that it was fine. Breakfast was lovely and the hostess was very helpful in suggesting sightseeing options and had a large selection of tourist pamphlets in the room which assisted in our decision. Upon request for a small fee, our laundry was done whilst we were there which was an enormous help, and we were able to use the internet for no fee, great for travellers to quickly check home.
