“Clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2011

We paid $44 a night w/out tax. This was by far the cheapest place we have stayed at in Tahoe. it was clean, quiet, and good location. The heater was slow to work. There is no coffee maker a big drag for me. No area rugs or door mats. Another drag especially with wet feet from the shower or worse coming in from a snow outside. The price was fair.

“Ok-Nice location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2011

We booked a king bed room on hotels.com. When we arrived & checked in that evening the gentleman at the front desk said that all they had left were double bed room & that the website was wrong. So our only choice (on a holiday weekend) was to take the 2 double bed's instead of going out searching for a new room at 8pm for the weekend. When we got to the room, the heater was broken (it was 30 degrees outside) but they had a portable heater on wheels which was hot to the touch. Obviously with 2 small children this wasn't going to work. My husband then went back down to the office with the 1 year old & said this isn't going to work. So the man "found" us a room with 2 double beds & a working heater. Besides that, the walls are pretty thin & you can hear quite a bit. If you like a soft bed then you'll like this hotel but they were a little too "plush" for us. But the location was nice & it has been newly renovated inside.

“Perfect Locations,great price.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

We arrived from Reno to stay one night in Tahoe before heading home. We arrived around 11:00 am. Very early for a check in but the older gentleman at the desk said he had a nice room ready to go. 60 dollars later we were in a nice little room with a nice flat screen, fridge, new bathroom and king size bed. It is a motel folks so don't expect the Ritz Carlton but for one night it was fine. We have stayed at the Marriott, the Casino hotels and many others in Tahoe and would stay here again. Would be great for a ski vacation close to Heavenly.

“Sweet Suite”

Was in South Lake for Bike Big Blue, the bicycle ride around Lake Tahoe.
Upon arriving we were very all very pleased to see our great Suite. It was 3 bedrooms, a large living room, nice kitchen and huge deck. It looked like most everything in there was brand new too! The place was huge and more than suited our needs. The manager was very agreeable and made for a great stay. Loved it!

“Great Value and Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2010

I booked this on Expedia, having no idea where it was located in relation to the places we wanted to go -- casinos, Emerald Bay, restaurants. We arrived at 9 pm on a Sunday and were absolutely thrilled to find it perfectly located within walking distance to casinos, the beach, the gondola and restaurants. The staff went out of theri way to make me fresh coffee, and, after we left and my son forgot his cell phone charger, they immediately made a special trip to the post office and mailed it to him.
While the rooms are small, they are clean and nicely decorated and quiet. The only drawback was lack of a swimming pool, but for the price, one can't expect everything.

I would definitely stay there on our next trip to Tahoe.
