We were traveling to Yosemite. The main road is Hwy. 50. This is 2 blocks off of it.
Quiet, clean and convinent. The Lake is 2 blocks. The shopping area is an easy walk. Grocery store Heavenly gondala rides, and casinco are on Hwy. 50 (main street) Hannah was so friend when booking. Great rates. She has coffee and fruit out in the morning. We had refrig and mircowave in the room. I would definately stay there again. It was quiet and they have a nice deck area the sit and relax.

Impressed me that I arrived (driving from SFO) at 2am at freezing temperature. Hannah had left for the day, put the keys at the door with directions to my rooms which the heater and lights are left on.

This was our first time to Tahoe, going for our 25th anniversary. It was off-season and Hannah, the owner, gave us great rates; I looked around quite a bit and I'm certain there was not a better place for the price.

The location is terrific - close to restaurants, parks, and activities and a walk to the beach. Right in South Lake Tahoe, but off the main traffic flow. You won't get great views here, but you aren't far from Emerald Bay, Heavenly, and other nice vistas.

Key for me when staying somewhere is cleanliness - and this place passed easily. Neatly kept and very clean. Not an upscale place and certainly not new, but very satisfactory.

Although it is motel-like in appearance, Hannah's touch makes it feel more like an inn. She was very helpful with tips and ideas. Our room had french doors for an entry. I found the bed comfortable (meaning moderate in firmness/softness) and slept well. The gas stove was a nice touch and warmed the room quickly and nicely in the evening.

If we returned, we would stay here again without hesitation.

I have been staying at Hannah's place for probably 10 years or more now....It is one of the cleanest, nicest places in Tahoe, and the location is fantastic.All of the rooms are very comfortable, and many have been remodeled.Don't waste your time, or experience the frustration of "trying out' some of the other places in town...most are dives.And her rates cannot be beat, and you will find that she is one of the sweetest people you will meet, and always honest.2 blocks from the lake, and maybe 5 or 6 to the casinos and "downtown", and it it's ski season , you are right there for that too.
