My wife and I spent three nights at Secrets Inn. The inn occupies a recently renovated motel located about a block from both the south lake tahoe "strip" and the beach. Our room was as advertised: clean, modern, and treated with essential creature comforts. The highlights: a quality and roomy bed, gas fireplace, jacuzzi, and large shower. Drawbacks: rooms are small, a bit crowded, and there's no chair or desk. The inn also resides in an older structure, so it's not uncommon to hear other guests. The management and staff were helpful and friendly, and even mailed a personal thank you card. Overall, Secrets Inn is an excellent choice for retreating couples who like to save money.

Great location and lovely welcome from the hosts including coffee and cookies in the reception.
Super good value, less than we were quoted online when we did walk in off the street.

I have stayed mainly in casinos because you kinda know what you're getting. But if I stray away from my comfort zone, I usually ALWAYS check reviews for any new venture which was no different this time. I almost opted for another place a couple doors down that was about half the price but with mixed reviews. This hotel was found under the B&B section but for the price at $89/ night I couldn't resist.

First, let me say the folks at the front desk were extremely warm and friendly and just as personal as you would find at a bed n bfast. They make fabulous recommends all around the area just ask! They won't steer you wrong. Debbie is amazing and will make sure everything is just perfect! Even Aaron who's only 16 and extremely professional will make sure you are not inconvenienced in any way. :)

The advertisement boasts gas fireplaces and jaccuzzi tubs for two in EVERY room and we were not dissappointed. Its such a romantic setting and for the value. We stayed in an upstairs Tahoe Suite with Flat screen TV, Jacuzzi tub which did fit myself and my sweetheart comfortably. We aren't small people ;) and the beds, COMFY! We loved every second there and stronly reccommend if you are searching for a romantic stay on a budget!

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for! Every room had jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Management was very friendly and accomadating. We would deffinately stay here again!!
