Simply love this cosy place. Stayed here for 3 nights. There is a full kitchenette with microwave and fridge. There's a supermarket nearby where you can stock up on some food and drinks. Of course, you can always pop into the common lounge area during office hours for free cookies and hot tea.
It's quite a challenge to get there if you don't drive though.

We stayed at the Heavenly Inn as part of the TAN group. Don’t let the outside of the two story hotel fool you, this place was extra nice. From the outside, it looks old but well kept. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The rooms have been nicely updated with comfortable queen size beds, nice linens and pillows. The small kitchenette had granite counters, a newer full size refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was also nicely updated.

The best part was the location. Just 1 ½ blocks from the Heavenly gondola, a grocery, theater, eating areas, coffee shops and shopping. A few more blocks will get you to State Line, NV for casinos.

TAN picked a good one this time.

Our stay at Heavenly Inn was splendid. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchenette was nice and helped us save time and money. Heavenly Inn is located on a quiet side street, in walking distance to shops, restaurants, the gondola and the lake.

Most importantly though was the warm and friendly staff. Owner, Joe was full of information about the area and directed us to some great areas to hike. Hector, who worked the office in the evenings, was very helpful and always had fresh cookies baking for the inn's guests. Even part time evening staff were helpful getting us to great hiking spots. It's clear that the folks at Heavenly love Tahoe and want to share this beautiful place with those who stay with them.

I would go back...and recommend Heavenly Inn highly.

Stayed here with Plan with tan. The owners Joe and Debbie, and staff Hector, Reed and Aaron were Awesome, the best we have ever experienced. They were accommodating in every way, and gave us tips on great things to do in the area. We don't want to forget the never ending supply of fresh bakes cookies Hector baked with coffee and tea in the office. YUM!!! We were truly treated as family. Joe even called us via cell phone to make sure we were alright when we weren't back until after dark on a hike he sent us on. He was worried that we got lost. That does not happen anywhere else that I know of. I would highly recommend Heavenly Inn to anyone who wants to be treated like family. It was wonderful meeting Joe and staff and have come to love you like family.
