We stayed in a one bedroom suite at this hotel. It was 2 adults and 2 kids. The location is great, since it's a block from the Heavenly gondola. The room was comfortable and fine for our purposes, although it could benefit from an upgrade. It's not as modern as the Marriott or Embassy suites. The kitchenette was convenient, but if you intend to cook you should know that the pots may not be adequate. Our unit had 2 tiny pots. The only negative was that the walls were very thin. We were on the second floor and could hear the people above us walking around all night.

My family and I stayed at the Forest Suites Resort this past week and would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be at a prime location at the base of the Heavenly gondola and doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg to be there. This property is located right in the center of Heavenly village. We parked our car the first night in the covered parking (free) and didn't need to use it again until we left becuse of the location. Other added features we enjoyed was free internet, free breakfast, discounted lift tickets at that we purchased at Forest Suite resort for Heavenly and a new program that was recently initiated to go green that included the option of having our room cleaned daily or getting a daily bottle of wine. You can guess what we chose. Thanks for a great experience Forest Suites Resort staff and management for making our vacation a great one! Will recommend and stay with you again!

The resort has the best location in South Lake Tahoe as the Heavenly Gondola is across the street by Heavenly Village . The resort has good breakfast, spacious rooms with kitchens and its clean. The service was good and we will be coming back next year.

We brought our family of 5 to the Forest Suites Resort and stayed in a 2 room suite, which was just perfect. It offered tons of space, a complete kitchen and 2 full bathrooms all of which were spotless. The staff was always helpful and the GM is a hunk! Another bonus is the free breakfast. From hot waffles to hard boiled eggs, there was something for all 5 of us to fill up on. And even more impressive than the property itself is the location. You can't get more central in S Lake Tahoe than a stones throw to the Heavenly gondola. I would absolutely reccommend this hotel for your next visit to Tahoe and have already booked my next stay!
