We came here in October. Not high season for the Lake, or skiing.. Just a nice little getaway sans son. We stayed for two nights.
Upon first walk into the lobby, I wasn't sure quite where to go. I found a bar in the middle and in the back, found the front desk attendants. After a short walk in, we found our room and were immediately satisfied. The king bed and linens were super comfortable and the room was very clean.
This being an eco friendly hotel, we noticed the lighting in the hallway very, very dim. It scared me many nights. Remember the hallway in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, how you felt like it went down forever? Well, we walked down the halls with our head down and fast.
One thing I didn't like was that you had to ask where the ice machine was. Really? No signs in the room? My husband trekked all around and finally asked the front desk to find out he had to go back upstairs and found the ice machine. It was in a weird room, where you had to have your back to the hallway. Husband DID NOT like that.
The area of the private sauna/hottub was ok. I felt like the water in the hottub was dirty. ick..
and the sauna was pretty creepy as you didn't know whether it was occupied or not.
At night, we could hear the sounds of other people enjoying their trip....
Room Tip: Opt for the 3rd floor, away from elevators. Even if you face parking lot, windows are good/quiet.
