This place lived up to it's reviews. My Gf and I stayed a few days for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the King Room and it accommodated us well. The room was not big nor were the bathrooms but it was VERY clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable which is a plus plus in our book. Normally when we stay out of town, we dread wondering if were are going to be able to sleep at night because of the hotel bed. This bed was pretty nice although the sheets seemed very thin and it was difficult to figure out the temperature level knob for their radiant heater. One minute it was too warm and then the next, it was a bit cold.
Walking distance to the casino is literally 5-10 minutes. There are alot of food places to eat close by and you don't have to worry about driving. (Driftwood Cafe, Fire and Ice, Pizza and Raleys is across the street as well for any groceries you need)
We will definitely return to this hotel in the future for any of our travel needs to Tahoe. This is a perfect little spot for Fourth of July, New Years, etc. The larger hotels like Embassy are way over priced and this one is just as good for us.
Room Tip: We stayed on the 2nd floor, would have preferred the third because you can hear people walking above...
