Loved our one night stay in this beautiful B&B. We arrived on a very cold saturday afternoon to find a lovely welcome from the owner complete with complimentary tea and homemade muffins in the firelit living room. We stayed in the Green Room, and found it so luxurious and well worth more than the £90 we were charged. It was a massive room, with a very very comfy bed and luxurious bathroom complete with White Company toiletries. The owner was extremely helpful and recommended a fab restaurant before we arrived. We really wanted a peaceful relaxing break, and that's exactly what we got in every way. Cannot fault this property at all, and it was much nicer than many much more expensive places we've stayed in.

The rooms are beautiful and so is the food which is prepared and served by Lyn who made us feel most welcome. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts which include freshly squeezed orange juice, a really fresh, fresh fruit salad, cereals and a mouthwatering selection of cooked breakfast dishes. The evening meals are to die for and are consistently wonderful - we ate in every night. The rooms have lovely high ceilings with elegant plaster work decorations and are very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt totally relaxed and pampered during our stay. Sharrow Cross is handy for exploring Harrogate and the delightful small cathedral city of Ripon. Visit Ripon on market day (thursday) and chat with the Bell Man in the market. He will enthusiastically tell you of the history of this fascinating market town which has a huge amount of querky English history. A hidden British gem of a town.

Very nice accomodation, spacious room in the Pine room. Excellent choice of breakfast and hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone, we had stopped after a days racing and rang up night before.

A room like a suite for three people,very confortable beds, perfect cleanliness, lovely breakfast. The owners are simply perfect and very kind. Highly recommended!
