We stayed in the 'Green Room' which was spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. There is a fridge in the room (as well as everything else you would expect) with bottled water and fresh milk for tea/coffee.
We had dinner on 3 evenings and the food was superb. Breakfast was also first class.
We appreciated Lyn's friendly welcome and helpfulness throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed in the Green Room for three nights which included the Royal Wedding. Fantastic accommodation with comfy bed and deluxe bathroom. Had long lies and afternoon naps which I never do at home. The room is full of light all day and the sun shone a lot over the three days so it was really pleasant. Home made muffins were served on arrival which were scrummy and that set the standard for the rest of the meals. Amazing breakfast with local produce, loads to choose from and plenty of it. We had evening meal for each night which we chose ahead of our visit. The food was fantastic and attention to detail and quality outstanding. We can't wait to go back but are struggling to get availability. That's the problem when you share - it gets harder to get in! Ripon is a lovely place to visit with Fountains Abbey nearby for a great day out

My partner and I recently stayed at Sharow Cross, and had an absolutely lovely time. Wonderful house, great room, lovely convenient but quiet location, a through but unobtrusive service, terrific food and the attention to details that really make it all worthwhile. Would definitely stay there again next time we're in Ripon.

We stayed here for two nights and it was excellent. The room was spotless, the hosts were lovely and the breakfast was amazing we didn't have an evening meal but if it was anything like the breakfast it could only be amazing.

We would recommend this B&B as the house is lovely and so quiet and relaxing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable the best we have slept on. Every detail had been taken care of, in fact we didn't want to leave it was so nice.

The next time we are in Yorkshire this is where we are staying.
