Stayed here for a short break away and could not fault it. Beautiful hotel and grounds, friendly helpful staff. The pool and lounges were perfect to relax and unwind. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. The best food and service I have ever received in a hotel. Will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend.

I visited the hotel with a friend for a relaxing spa weekend. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner & the food was first class everytime. I would recommend the roasted scallops for starter which were to die for & the fillet steak for main. Lovely cocktails too! I had a pedicure & full body massage in the beauty rooms which were heavenly. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room were lovely & relaxing. The service in the hotel was great. All staff were extremely friendly & helpful & made our stay very special. Wonderful hotel with some lovely unique touches.....fab wallpaper! I can't wait to go back :-)

This hotel is in a lovely situation being just a few miles from Rye and in the countryside. Helpful staff and probably the best breakfasts we have ever had in the UK. Good sized rooms with pretty restaurant, lounge and bar. The only criticism was that the mattresses need replacing and the walls of the rooms are very thin so noise can be issue from next door occupants. Otherwise really very nice indeed. The pool and jacuzzi turned the whole weekend into a relaxing break.

the owners of this hotel need to sit up and look at what there offering in this market place
the food I had in the evening was chicken that smelt and was cold ( we did get a fresh dinner)If there is any thing to say good the breakfast was good.the building needs updating the conservatory was very cold in the evening, the bedrooms were clean but the bed uncomfortable , the swimming pool was dirty I could not see through the water and there was no staff on most of the time.
the staff are nice its a shame the owners don't do more to appreciate them. very bad business practice.
