“LOVE LA QUINTA!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2011

We own a hot-shot delivery business and are on the road a lot. Our dogs, Coco and Buddy are often our travel mascots. There have been many times in the past, when after driving 16 hours, (sometimes through ugly weather or various other challenging circumstances), we find ourselves in the exhausting frustrating situation of trying to locate a comfortable, decent place to stay that is also dog friendly. Unfortunately, out of fatigue and desperation, we have ended up in some very unpleasant motels. That is, until we discovered LA QUINTA INNS. Many of our delivery locations in the West have a La Quinta near by. And how comforting it is to know that after our long hauls, we and our dogs are welcome at La Quinta to bed down in very comfortable, modern up-dated, clean and quiet accommodations. Our most recent delivery trek took us to Spokane, WA. After after driving 800 miles, with the last 200 in icy dense fog, it was wonderful to check into La Quinta, Spokane Valley at 11:45 PM. The lobby was so very warm and welcoming all decked-out with very tasteful Holiday decorations. The night clerk very cheerful and helpful. The room so comfortable and spacious. And that incredibly wonderful bed! And after a very restful sleep, such a nice breakfast room in the AM. And the day manager-------what a delightful lady! All La Quintas are great, but this one was particularly wonderful La Quinta! Very quiet and relaxing------just a delightful home away from home! THANK YOU LA QUINTA for always being there for us.

“Great hotel for the money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

We drove in from Seattle on 11/8 and stayed through 11/12 to visit family in Liberty Lake.. Loved the ice water and gingerbread cookies in the lobby! Even though the hotel was on the edge of an industrial park, it was just a mile away from the Spokane Valley Mall where we had dinner at a few nights. There was a Starbucks & McDonald's right next door! Uber convenient. My fiance went to the Liberty Lake golf courses which took about 15 minutes to get to/from. The Centennial River Trail was only a mile away where I did all my daily runs. The hotel looked really new, and the rooms were updated with flat panel TVs, a decent computer chair, and a sitting chair in the corner. The bed was very comfortable, I never woke up with back pain! Lots of pillows from which to choose.

Overall, it was a great place to be, I think we spent about $72/night and it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this hotel to other family members!

Room Tip: We stayed on the north side (towards the parking lot) and it was pretty quiet on the third floor.

“The worst smell ever!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011 via mobile

The room was large however smelled as if a hundred packs of cigarettes were smoked at once. It was so bad it gave me a headache the entire time I was in the room. The worst part was the half a** answers the desk gave. I signed a disclosure that we wouldn't Smoke or be charged $200. We don't even smoke and when I walked in the room the smell was so bad I called the desk. I was told some of the rooms used to be smoking rooms and they haven't got the smell out. The next day I told the desk again and another girl said she doesn't know why it smells so bad, maybe someone smoked.
I find the smell to be worst than any room I have ever stayed in, at least 10 times worst than vegas!
The room was also missing a light cover and I have small children. Not safe.

“Very good deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

I needed an affordable hotel that allowed pets to spend the night on the way from Montana to Seattle, and this filled the bill. I think maybe the reasonable prices are due to the fact that the hotel is located well outside of downtown Spokane-- in an industrial park which was rather a surprise. You have to drive to restaurants, e.g. to the mall that's not far away. The room was large, very nice, with a really good, comfortable bed. The breakfast is adequate.

“New renovation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

They recently replaced everything in the hotel to bring it up to date. They now have flat screen TV's , new beds, new furniture, lobby, the works. Nice place and fairly convenient. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that one.
