Stayed here with my wife for a second honeymoon, what great people, made us feel at home. Nothing was too hard for them, good knowledge of the area, easy to book trips. Had a ball with their family. Breakfast was very good value and always hot! Close to town and the beaches are a quick drive away. The room was perfect for what we needed and was always clean and fresh. This a great budget place to use a base or just chilling, we will be back!!

Stayed here for 6 nights, and used it as a base for exploring Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Inland. Got on well with both Steve and Lindsay, who produced a good value breakfast, which kept us going for the day. BBQ facilities were available which we used on 2 occasions, not too far to go into Woombye itself (10 Minute walk, once you find the shortcut) where there is a good pub, with restaurant attached, bit pricey but good. Launderette, cafe, and supermarket all available. Because we stayed for the week, we got a slight discount but only because it was not high season. We booked a room for our Son Daughter In Law and 3 Month old granddaughter, who came up from Sydney for 2 nights, as the Motor Lodge was so good, we had a good time , and will use again if the opportunity arises.

Spent a couple of nights in the Hinterland and stayed in one of the upstairs rooms of the motel.

Although a little dated, everything was clean and tidy, the older style air-con still worked extremely well. Considering its position, the motel was surprising quiet, and the curtains really blacked out the room. Bed was very comfortable, and a hair dryer in the bathroom is always appreciated.

The management were very nice and friendly, lending us a drying rank for our wet washing (the complex does not have a laundry room that I know of) and passing with a smile.

However, although we were not in a kitchenette room, we assumed by the lack of dishwashing liquid the dirty crockery would be swapped for clean ones after our use, and if there was a toaster, surely a butter knife would have been handy. We were informed that they don't provide that service, that most people bring their own stuff or get a kitchenette room.

I'm guessing by the surprise they registered when I said other motels provide dishwashing liquid sachets that most people only stay for one night, not 2 or more, thus the washing up and lack of cutlery is a non-issue. We were just pleased we always travel with a swiss army knife.

The motel does not look much from the outside but the rooms are a good size and very clean. Beds are also comfy. We were very pleased with the under cover parking as there was a good size thunderstorm.
Air con works well and we used that as the room was a bit hot. There is a very nice garden area that can be accessed from your room via sliding doors, sadly the road noise meant we chose to keep the door closed. Inside the room you dont really hear the cars but you do hear the trucks as the motel is right on the main road into Nambour, but over all a good motel
